Oriental cuisine (Bolivian orient) is based on rice, cassava (manioc), corn and beef.
Masaco is one of the dishes most representative of this region. The Tacanas and Mosetenes originally prepared it with pork fat.
The name comes from the word masa, since it is a dough (masa) made from cassava or banana with a little jerky.
