
Llajwa (pronounced lyah'wah) is a Bolivian hot sauce based on tomato and locoto (a hot pepper similar to the habanero that is used as a condiment in South America) that accompanies the majority of Bolivian dishes.

Ingredients
- 1 tomato
- 5 locotos
- 5 quilquina sprigs (Bolivian herb) or cilantro

- salt
Preparation
- Seed the locotos
- Peal the tomatoes
- Place tomato, locoto and quilquina (or cilantro) in the blender and puree
- Salt to taste
