Potosi, the town and its surrounding

As you certainly know the capital of Potosi is a historic city with a heavy colonial past.

Today its mine, over-exploited, are getting out of breath. We hope that the workers are going to stop emptying it before it falls on theirs head.

The city, with a colonial architecture, is a museum in itself. Have a walk in these streets and imagine how the city had to be in the time of her magnificence.

Finally Potosi's countryside will propose you numerous walks and, why not, a bath in the eye of the Inca.

Here are some photos to give you a front taste of this outstanding city which we deeply recommend you to visit.
