Charquini is a glacier whose summit peaks at 5390 meters. Placed in the department of La Paz, next to Huayna Potosi, it also soars from the valley of Zongo.

It constitutes an easy acclimatization walk; it's a good training for the beginners who wish to learn walking on glacier. However the approach march is made on an aqueduct and is very vertiginous...
