Chulumani, south yungas capital

Chulumani is the capital of the South Yungas. It is known by the tourists as the arrival place of the trek of Takesi.

But for the Bolivian people it is a big agricultural center which collects all the productions of its fertile lands; bananas, oranges, avocados, mangoes, and then of course the famous leaf of coca.

At only 4 hours from La Paz, Chulumani is not very tourist. Its accommodations for tourists are little developed, there are few restaurants and hotels.

However the Apa-Apa reserve, at 8 km of the town of Chulumani is fitted out for the tourists; swimming pool, stroll in the reserve, camping place, restoration and nice reception.

We let you discover all this in photos...
